Wheelchair Van Division Supervisor
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise and evaluate all Wheelchair Van Division employees
- Participate in interviewing Wheelchair Van Division employees
- Monitor required employee certifications
- First Aid
- CPR
- Valid Ohio’s Driver’s License
- Defensive Driving
- Create and maintain the staffing schedule
- Review and approve time cards for payroll
- Attend required safety council meetings and other required courses
- Monitor supplies needed for the division
- Coordinate required repairs and maintenance for vehicles in the division
- Oversee training of new hires and competencies of existing employees
- Monitor safety procedures and protocols for the division
- Inspect all vehicles on a regular basis to determine that high standards of cleanliness, safety, and security are maintained
- Review paperwork to assure accuracy and completeness
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License
- CPR and First Aid certified-if not currently certified must obtain certification within the first 60 days of employment
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older, have a valid Ohio driver’s license, must have maintained a driver’s license for at least the previous two (2) years and must keep a clean driving record
- All employees must also meet all requirements imposed by the state and federal governments with respect to individuals involved with medical transportation, as well as requirements of LifeCare’s insurance provider
